Recipe recommendation system for salt control

Excessive salt intake is a significant health concern in Japan, as it increases the risk of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. This study proposes a system to support salt intake management for home cooking. By using a condiment container-type device, the system estimates the amount of seasoning used, automatically calculates and records salt intake, and reduces the burden of manual tracking. Additionally, the system utilizes accumulated data to suggest appropriate recipes based on the user's salt intake status. Through this approach, the system aims to encourage proper salt consumption and contribute to the prevention of lifestyle-related diseases. |
