Research on the Application of Pedestrian Dynamics Analysis Based on Video to Crowd Animation

This study aims to improve the efficiency of animation production by utilizing object detection algorithms and monocular depth estimation to reproduce real pedestrian dynamics in 3DCG. The domestic animation industry faces challenges such as long working hours and reliance on manual labor. To address this, 3DCG is increasingly being used for backgrounds and crowd scenes to enhance efficiency. This study proposes a system that extracts crowd motion from videos, enabling production companies to internally generate crowd animations, thereby reducing production time and costs. |
