Mitigation of Repeated Retry Stress by Granting Items According to Game Over Situations

In recent years, as the difficulty of games has increased, there has been an increase in cases where players feel stressed by repeated game overs and abandon the game. In this study, we proposed a support system that reduces players' stress and increases their motivation to continue playing the game by giving them appropriate items depending on the situation when the game over occurs. Experimental results showed that the proposed method significantly reduces stress without compromising the fun of the game and significantly increases players' motivation to continue playing the game compared to conventional methods. |
