Improving Dance Game Experience by Specifying Foot Direction Notes

In recent years, lack of exercise has become a serious social issue due to decreased opportunities for exercise. There are dance games that combine physical movement and games to easily encourage exercise. In the dance games, we have fun by stepping on the notes that appear in time with the music. In this research, we propose a new dance game that includes specifying foot direction notes. By specifying foot direction, it is possible to move the entire body more than in conventional dance games. Evaluation experiments show that the dance game by specifying foot direction notes achieves superior results in terms of enjoyment, amount of exercise, and dance performance. |
