In this study, in order to reduce the size of ground terminal antennas and improve the transmission speed in mobile satellite communications, a large aperture array antenna is virtually constructed by integrating a large number of small satellites, and a group of satellites is operated as a single antenna to provide an efficient communication means. The authors investigated the communication area when nano-satellites are arranged in a dense concentric circle and are equivalent to a large antenna. The simulation results show that the satellite arrangement and the inclination of the satellites contribute to the expansion of the communication area. |
