Fluoride nanophosphor samples were prepared for application to photodynamic therapy, and the relationship between formation and luminescence properties was evaluated. Samples were prepared using a liquid phase synthesis method called the solvothermal method. As a result, two types of crystal structures, cubic and orthorhombic, were observed in the YF3:Ce3+ sample from the X-ray diffraction measurement, and luminescence due to the 5d - 4f transition was confirmed from the photoluminescence measurement. The same evaluation was also performed for the LaF3:Ce3+ sample, showing the possibility of controlling the emission wavelength by changing the composition ratio Y:La for the mixed crystal of YF3 and LaF3. |
