Study on Eigenvalue Configuration of Abnormal Noise Identification Method Based on Optical Eigenvalues

(in English) In the future, highly reliable optical fiber communication networks with not only stable services but also early recovery from failures will be required, and rapid detection of anomalies will be necessary for the early recovery. In recent years, several methods have been proposed for anomaly detection that does not require dedicated equipment such as OTDRs, using optical coherent transceivers and digital signal processing. In this paper, we report the results of an investigation into several eigenvalue configurations and their relationship with estimation accuracy in an anomalous noise added location estimation method based on optical eigenvalue transmission.
