Test Evaluation of Doppler Shift Correction Method in Underwater Acoustic Positioning

(in English) Underwater acoustic positioning is known to be affected by multipath, Doppler shift, and noise, which can degrade positioning accuracy. Resampling for the received signal has been used as a countermeasure of Doppler shift. However, this method requires a large amount of computation. In this study, we introduce a multi-template method in which the reference signal is pre-compressed or pre-contracted in advance. We have conducted an acoustic positioning test to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method.
