SSCM consists of PM and SM based on sustainability. Many companies practicing SSCM are gradually shifting from SPM, where sustainability is enhanced through PM, to SSM. In addition, the effectiveness of SSM by buyer firms is mediated by trust between buyers and suppliers. The coffee industry, which is currently practicing SSCM, considers the buyer-supplier relationship to be important in implementing SSM. Therefore, more sustainable management can be practiced. In this study, we focus on the coffee manufacturing industry, which is at the center of SSCM in the coffee industry. Then, we examine how the efforts of these companies contribute to the sustainability of coffee producers (farmers). |
