Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Hover-in-place Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) , which are used frequently for filming equipment of program production, are also expected to be used as hovering relay stations for FPU (Field Pick-up Unit) lines. Because mm-wave (millimeter wave) has a large attenuation over distance, multi-hop relaying can be able to improve transmission characteristics of mm-wave band FPU lines. Here, we clarify the conditions under which 2-stage relaying has better characteristics than 1-stage relaying, from the perspective of average channel capacity of dual-polarized MIMO which uses in-band full-duplex, amplify-and-forward relays.
