Development of a pentagonal prism style 30K 360-degree camera

(in English) ITU-R BT.2123 recommends a 30K x 15K 360-degree immersive video format to realize a higher-definition VR environment; however, neither compliant 30 K 360-degree immersive content nor a method to acquire it exists. This report describes the development of a 30K 360-degree camera that uses multiple high-definition industrial cameras to ensure a 30K 360-degree resolution while reducing stitching errors.
