Quality Control Method on H.264 for Data Size Reduction of Industrial Videos

(in English) In this study, for the goal of reducing data size of industrial videos, we propose quality control method on H.264 that improves compression ratio while maintaining quality in regions with specific object types. This method enables the users specify multiple object types by using few-shot learning. It controls quality so that it keeps quality in the regions with the object types and highly compresses others. Evaluation results on videos assuming industrial use cases show that the proposed method reduces the data size.
