In recent years, software speech technologies such as synthetic speech have made remarkable progress, but they have not yet been able to reproduce the timbre of human speech. In this study, we decided to reproduce the articulatory mechanism that changes the sound produced by the vocal cords, and firstly, tongue posture control was carried out to express vowels. A prototype tongue was created and controlled using threads to reproduce the tongue postures of the vowels A, I, U, E and O. In the future, we will use the tongue prototype to reproduce the tongue postures of the vowels A, I, U, E and O. In the future, we would like to control the vocal tract using the tongue prototype and produce sounds for formant analysis. |
