Autostereoscopic 3D see-through AR is a technology that displays a stereo image by superimposing a virtual stereo image on a real stereo image. Purpose of this research is to realize autostereoscopic 3D see-through AR on mobile devices. This research uses autostereoscopic 3D tablet. Stereo image, generated in real time from the RGBD image captured by autostereoscopic 3D tablet, and superimposed on the CG stereo image to realize stereoscopic 3D see-through AR that can be held in the hand and used while moving. The proposed method improved the accuracy of user depth position estimation for some users by comparing a stereoscopic 3D display with a 2D display. The standard deviation of the estimated position was found to be smaller when the depth position was estimated multiple times. |
