Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) On-screen agents projected on a flat screen have problems correctly recognizing the object of gazing at when interacting with a real-world human. Therefore, to correctly present the gaze of an on-screen agent referring to the real world, it is necessary to compensate for the gaze by taking into account the characteristics of the screen. Therefore, in this study, we developed a gaze correction model based on the hypothesis that the gazing angle of an on-screen agent is determined by the interaction between the screen turn angle and the head turn angle. To validate the appropriateness of the model, we conducted a subject experiment to collect data on which direction the on-screen agent seems to look at each angle of the screen and the object. In addition, we identified the adequacy of the model and parameters.
