We are conducting research on the advanced Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting - Terrestrial (advanced ISDB-T) to realize 4K service for fixed reception and 2K service for mobile reception within a channel simultaneously. So far, we have evaluated the transmission characteristics using the parameters that are expected to be practically used, assuming the same transmission/reception conditions as the current terrestrial broadcasting. In this paper, in the fixed reception environment, because the required C/N of the current operational parameter is 20 dB, the transmission characteristics were measured at 101 points using the transmission parameters that the required C/N is around 20 dB, and the multipath margin for the link budged was verified. It was confirmed that there was almost no difference in the degradation of the required C/N depending on the selected transmission parameters, and the degradation due to the multipath interference was 1 dB or less at the measurement point of 91 %. |
