Recently, animations created using physically-based fluid simulations are often used for entertainment applications, such as, movies and video games. These animations are not only realistic ones, non-photorealistic representations with realistic behaviors are also often used. For example, smoke or liquid flows are often represented as a specific shape. Our research goal is to expand a range of expression of fluid animations, and we have been studying a method to represent the user-desired shapes onto realistic fluid flows. |
