In recent years, with the development of computer graphics (CG) technology, there have been various studies in the field of CG simulation and the demand for CG representations of food has been increasing. In this study, the entanglement of noodles and sauces in a pasta dish is represented by CG simulation. The interaction between a filamentous object and a non-Newtonian fluid, as seen in the case of noodles and sauce, is considered to be one of the most difficult subjects due to the complex behavior of the filamentous object and the non-Newtonian fluid. In this method, the interaction between noodles and sauce is simulated by Vellum and FLIP, respectively, and then combined by re-simulation. |
