Color image generation by holographic display using Pulse-Modulated MEMS SLM

We previously proposed a hologram display using the pulse-modulated MEMS spatial light modulator (SLM) to enlarge the viewing zone without the pixel pitch reduction of the SLM. In this study, we use three RGB laser diodes and an RGB optical coupler to illuminate the MEMS SLM in order to generate color reconstructed images using a time-multiplexing manner. We constructed an experimental system based on the proposed technique to demonstrate the color image generation. |
