Adhesive Columner Spacer for Stretchable Liquid Crystal Device using Liquid Crystal Gel

(in English) For stretchable liquid crystal display devices, we proposed liquid crystal device structure in which columnar spacers made of adhesive polymers are formed in the stretchable liquid crystal gel film. The elastic element structure was formed by the method of peeling off the elastic liquid crystal cell composed on the support substrate. As the results, we clarified that the columnar spacers with adhesive polymers showed elongation resistance to uniaxial stretching of about 1.5 times
