In broadcasting and OTT(Over-The-Top), there are various services with timed metadata events. Broadcasters’ provide services such as breaking news and viewers vote. OTT provides services such as ad insertion and interactive story programs. In addition, the use of timed metadata events in the integrated broadcast-broadband services is expected to lead to the creation of new services. However, there are some issues such as the lack of use case consideration and delivery delay. In this study, we summarize the requirements derived from the use cases and propose a method of delivering metadata events according to those requirements. |
