A numerical surface layer model is digital data representing the surface shape of the ground including buildings and trees, and is used in various fields such as terrain analysis and simulation. As a typical generation method, there is a method using LIDAR. This is realized by registration (registration) between the scan point group observed by the three-dimensional point group processing and the past scan point group. At present, it is common to use multiple sensors other than LIDAR for registration. The purpose of this study is to improve the registration accuracy of LIDAR alone, and to generate a numerical surface model at a lower cost, and proposed a method using clustering by normal vectors. We compared the accuracy with previous studies and improved accuracy at intersections with large azimuth changes. |
