When we shoot a natural scene, the image may contain under-exposure or over-exposure regions. This is because the dynamic range of camera is narrower than the dynamic range of human light perception. This problem can be solved by the fusion of multi-exposure images which are taken by a camera.A lot of fusion methods are realized by weighted averaging, and it is important to calculate appropriate weights. In this report, we propose a method for fusing multi-exposure images using local color correction images.Concretely, fusing multi-exposure images which are newly generated by a lightness conversion with preserving hue and saturation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by experiments using several images.
