A terahertz imaging has attracted attention. However, it is problem that conventional terahertz imagers are expensive. An antenna-type terahertz imager is cheap and works faster than previous ones, but whether it can demonstrate its own performance depends on its readout architecture. In this work, we propose fully pixel parallel CMOS terahertz images sensor. Our terahertz imager achieves “global shutter function and digital CDS function thanks to pixel parallel architecture and its VCO-Based ADC”, “high responsivity (218kV/W@0.93THz) in low power consumption CMOS terahertz detecting circuit” and “the real-time terahertz imaging on cheap 180nm Si-CMOS process.” |
