Since a consumer digital single-lens reflex camera using an APS-C size CMOS image sensor was released in 2000, large optical format, high resolution, high SNR, high dynamic range and high speed read-out are progressed by the present. As a camera, live-view, movie (FHD, 4K) and phase detection imager AF (PDAF) progressed. This paper reviews key technologies of the CMOS image sensor for high image quality and high functional resent cameras. |
