In recent years, due to the spread of smartphones and tablets, we can take photos anytime and anywhere and photo is becoming media that records everyday life and behavior history. The purpose of this study is to estimate a user’s preferences of traveling behavior from his/her stored personal travel photography by using generic object recognition and recommend tourist spots based on the estimated user’s preferences. This paper describes the proposed system framework and experimental results with a sample data set of 2,500 photos of real travel photos. |
