Resizing method of elemental images for improving the coding efficiency of integral 3D images

(in English) We are researching to find the proper video coding techniques for integral 3D images to obtain a more efficient compression performance. In this paper, we show the compression performance for captured elemental images by using the existing techniques such as 3D-HEVC and precisely describe the proposed method for resizing the elemental image before converting it into multi-view images. The results of this study show the proposed method improves the compression performance more effectively.
