In this paper, we propose a method to realize volunteer computing using TV sets. Volunteer Computing is a type of distributed computing technology in which computer owners donate their computing resources. We focus on idle computing resources of TV sets which viewers watch broadcast program on. We discuss how to use their resources for volunteer computing |
