［招待講演］ストレージ・システム技術の最新動向 ～ 4K/8K時代に求められるストレージ技術とは ～

東京オリンピックに向けて4K8Kの普及が本格化をみせようとしている．そのデータ量はあまりに大きく，従来適用してきたIT技術のロードマップの延長線上で4K8Kシステムを考えることが難しい．一方，IT技術にはその適用業務に対応してバリエーションがある．IBM東京ラボラトリーでは，4K8Kのフルファイルベース化における技術的課題を整理し，それぞれの課題に適用するIT技術を選択することで，4K8Kワークフロー案を設計した．この設計案はNAB2015のIBMブースで実機展示・発表を行ったので，本稿にてその概要を紹介する． |

4K8K technologies are going to be deployed toward the 2020 Tokyo Olympic. Due to the huge size of data, it is hard to design the 4K8K system along the IT roadmap that the industry has followed. However, the IT technology has variety to meet wide range of business requirements. IBM Tokyo Laboratory designed the prototype of the 4K8K workflow, researching the technical concerns in 4K8K file-based workflow and mapping the suitable technology to each of them. This paper reports the workflow design that was demonstrated in NAB 2015. |
