We are investigating CMOS image sensors which can be directly implanted in the deep brain of mouse for observation neural activities through fluorescence. LED, color filter and infusion cannula was integrated on the sensor module to observe fluorescence in the brain of mouse. Fabricated sensor was evaluated with a brain phantom, fluorescence of AMC(7-Amino4-MethylCoumarine) excited by UV-LED was successfully observed. |
